Our sandblasting surface treatment plastic twin screw extruder mixing screw element is the core mixing modular part of co-rotating parallel twin screw extruders, specially designed for plastic compounding, filler dispersion and polymer homogenization.
Different from polished bright surface screw segments, this series adopts professional sandblasting surface finish technology, forming uniform matte metal texture on the surface of kneading blocks, slotted mixing elements and special mixing segments. The sandblasting process removes machining burrs, eliminates surface stress concentration, and greatly optimizes anti-sticking, wear resistance and self-cleaning performance during plastic extrusion.
All mixing screw elements cover outer diameter from 12mm lab mini size to 300mm large industrial specification, including KB30°/45°/60°/90° kneading blocks, SME slotted mixing elements, ZME reverse mixing segments. Multiple wear-resistant alloy materials are optional, fully compatible with JSW TEX, Leistritz ZSE and other mainstream twin screw extruder models, widely matched for PP, PE, PVC, biodegradable plastic, WPC and color masterbatch production lines.

Fine sand particle blasting forms tiny concave-convex matte texture, effectively reduce plastic melt adhesion, avoid material carbonization and black spots during long-term continuous plastic extrusion, lower cleaning frequency.
Sandblasting thoroughly removes tiny burrs generated by CNC machining, releases internal surface stress of alloy steel, prevent crack damage under high shear and high temperature working conditions.
The sandblasted rough surface can enhance adhesion of follow-up nitriding, alloy coating treatment, double extend service life when processing high-filler, corrosive plastic formulas.
Sandblasting will not change the overall dimensional tolerance of mixing screw element, keep standard intermeshing clearance, maintain complete self-wiping function between twin screw segments.
Uniform matte metal finish without uneven reflection, high-grade industrial product texture, suitable for export high-standard extrusion equipment supporting spare parts.

All blanks are vacuum heat treated to HRC 58–65, then sandblasting surface processing:
A: Sandblasting is a surface finishing process that sprays fine abrasive sand on the alloy mixing element surface at high pressure, forming uniform matte texture, removing burrs and improving anti-stick and wear performance for plastic extrusion.
A: Sandblasting matte surface reduces plastic melt adhesion, avoids material carbonization; polished smooth surface is easy to stick viscous plastic, leading to black spots in finished pellets.
A: No. We control blasting depth strictly within 0.005mm, outer diameter, spline size and intermeshing clearance remain fully consistent with OEM standards.
A: Yes. 316L stainless steel sandblasted mixing segments are non-toxic, no coating shedding, fully meet food plastic extrusion hygiene requirements.
A: We support adjustable sandblasting roughness according to customer plastic formulas, provide fine matte and medium matte two surface grades for selection.
