TME 40/40 R is a standard forward toothed mixing element customized for co-rotating twin-screw extruders, with a 40mm lead and 40mm axial length. Manufactured with precision CNC machining, this distributive mixing component features symmetrical multi-angle tooth profiles and standard internal spline bore for seamless mounting on screw shafts.

The forward tooth structure creates continuous splitting, recombining and stretching of melt flow without generating excessive shear heat. It delivers uniform distributive mixing for color masterbatch, biodegradable plastics, TPE/TPR blends, filler homogenization and low-shear modification processes. The evenly distributed tooth ridges repeatedly divide polymer melt layers, eliminating uneven pigment dispersion, agglomerates and flow dead zones inside the barrel.

Made of wear-resistant nitrided 38CrMoAl or W6Mo5Cr4V2 high-speed steel upon request, the surface undergoes fine polishing to reduce material adhesion and simplify screw purging during color/material changeover. Its compact 40*40mm dimension allows flexible layout within screw barrels, matching TSE40, ZE40, TEX40 and other 40-series twin screw extruder equipment.
